Every job we do is covered by parts warranties commensurate with those offered by the respective manufacturers or distributors of the parts we have sold to you. Some parts warranties will cover labour costs while others may not.
Every job that is done by our service department carries a minimum 90 day workmanship warranty. That guarantees any adjustment we made or repair that we carried out was done correctly and is free from labour faults. Some labour warranties however extend conditionally to six months or more.
All parts sold by Torquepower are subject to guarantees in relation to the part's serviceability, fitness and quality. An exception is made for second hand or used parts which are guaranteed to be serviceable at the time of sale only and no other guarantees apply - nor are these second hand parts returnable for credit.
Parts warranties vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but generally speaking, a faulty part found and replaced within the specified warranty coverage period will be replaced at no labour cost to you provided it was fitted by our service department as part of the original supply contract. Where the part was supplied and not fitted, replacement of a faulty part will be limited to re-supply only.
Most Cummins parts warranty coverage is based on an amalgam of parameters - such as calendar time, distance travelled, the amount of fuel consumed - since the warranted item entered service or was first invoiced to the buyer.
You should always check the relevant warranty coverage with Torquepower before taking it upon yourself to have a problem that you think is covered under a warranty, rectified by another party or else you may end up unnecessarily owning some or all of that particular repair account and warranty support may be denied.
