You may not know that Jacobs Vehicle Systems, or more correctly, the Jake Brake concept itself, was once wholly owned by Cummins Engine Company - in fact it was invented by Clessie Cummins himself. You can read it all at the company's web site>.
Torquepower has a long association with the Jake Brake product having at one time been an independent distributor before Jacobs Manufacturing decided to instead use the vehicle OEM network for its distribution rather than market the product directly via independent distributors. In those days we handled Jake Brake product for Cummins, Cat, Detroit, Mack and Volvo.

Today we retain reasonably good stocks of Jake Brake parts for Cummins only and these are supplemented of course with Cummins sourced C-Brake components for the Cummins dedicated C-brake models (some of which are still Jake branded).
We are also able to offer a range of used Jake parts, assemblies, bare housings and kits. Available stock varies from time to time as you might well expect.
