There are many instances where Torquepower is able to offer a remanufactured or reconditioned exchange assembly as an option to a complete new part. This practice has been well supported by customers in the industry for decades and Cummins itself has invested heavily in its own exchange, or ReCon, manufacturing facilities around the world.
Torquepower carries a broad range of exchange assemblies for Cummins engines representing both factory ReCon product and other products that are remanufactured in Torquepower's own service facilities. These latter items are marketed under the Torquepower Service Exchange (SX) Program.
Torquepower SX items are most often represented by assemblies which have either been withdrawn from the Cummins ReCon program or in some cases were never released by Cummins as exchange items. They include a range of engines, long blocks, short blocks as well as lesser assemblies.
Included are:
In addition to the above Torquepower remanufactures Cummins PT fuel pumps and injectors and holds a wide range of competitively priced stock of these items.
All exchange items purchased from Torquepower are offered on a Core Return basis. Provided your old core meets published re-use or rebuild guidelines, your core deposit will usually be returned in full. In the case of unacceptable damage to the trade-in item, a lesser value than the core deposit will mostly apply. If you wish to retain your old unit, ie not offer it as a trade-in, Torquepower can sometimes offer the exchange unit on an outright basis at a value that is less than the sum of the exchange price plus core deposit.
Torquepower carries the largest range of exchange Cummins product of any Cummins Dealer in Australia.
Pricing is competitive and service is exceptional.
Exchange assemblies can only be purchased via the traditional supply model, that is, by speaking with one of our highly trained parts interpreters, or sending your Purchase Order by fax or EMail. Exchange items are offered through Clessie On-Line on an outright purchase basis only.
