After assessing the scope of the failure through telephone discussions with the driver and then determining the probable repair needs, parts can be drawn from our inventory and a technician dispatched in one of our field service vehicles to affect the necessary repairs at the breakdown site.
Costs associated with roadside repairs can escalate rapidly if the failure is not relatively straightforward. It often represents a better commercial decision to recovery the vehicle to the dealership where comprehensive parts and specialist equipment are readily available. It may also be necessary to recover the vehicle for reasons of safety or load commitments. Such a decision would be taken only after consultation with the owner.
Roadside breakdown service is generally limited to established customers with a Torquepower trading account.
